The Hope of Glory

Colossians 1:27 says that God has revealed the mystery of faith to all people – Jews and Gentiles (non-Jews) alike. That mystery is this:

Christ in you – the hope of glory.

When I read that it looks like this…

Christ in me = The hope of glory

To me, that’s amazing. You see, when Christ is in me, I can be sure of eternal life and salvation.

By being in me, I mean I trust him, and rely upon him, and because of that, His Holy Spirit lives within me, and connects mine and Jesus’ relationship together.

By glory, I don’t mean fame and honour, but sharing in Christ’s glory: The fact that he saved me, and therefore being with him in heaven when I die.

This truth is just too precious to ever forsake. And if it’s not your truth yet, make it your truth today.
