DeanRoberts.Net set to be a Finalist for the Christian New Media Awards

I’ve been debating whether to put this on my blog for a few days, but I’ve decided that I’d like to share with readers how encouraged I am to have gone through to the final of the Christian New Media Awards!

I’ve been nominated for the Best Christian blog for under 25’s. I can’t say how much it means to me to have gone this far! The Christian New Media Awards are in place to encourage Christians who use social media for the sake of the gospel, and to promote their work as well as providing a platform to share ideas and make social media a way to evangelise and utilise for the sake of the Kingdom.

There is an awards ceremony in London on the 14th October, but only the runners up and the winners attend this. I don’t know whether I’ll be either of those, but it’s a nice thought 🙂 It would be a real honour to go. Even to be in the final is an amazing honour, and I’m deeply humbled by it.

But what I really wanted to share with you is the list of other people who are in my category to win. They have some really great blogs, and I highly recommend you read them and subscribe to them:

Thank you for all your support, everyone! A blog wouldn’t be a blog without the support and interaction of readers, and it’s you guys who’ve helped me to write content and inspired me. So thank you. I never take for granted the continued support that you give.

Who knows what the Christian New Media Awards may hold?! I’m very excited about the prospect of possibly being a winner, or indeed a runner up. But if not, all is well with the world and I’m very happy that I’ve made it this far!
