Standing up for Marital Purity & Standing against the promotion of Marital Affairs

Do you think it’s right to encourage people to have an affair, and then get money out of it? I don’t. And I think it’s absolutely disgusting.

Marriage is being increasingly belittled and degraded in British Society, and now, Global Personals, a dating company, has found a new marketing niche; married men and women who don’t want to divorce, but who want affairs. How low could you get?

Jon Kuhrt is a guy who is heading up a campaign to stop this nonsense (good on you, Jon!) and there is more information on his blog.

You can read about it in more detail here and a letter that’s been written to the CEO of Global Personals, Ross Williams by clicking here

I would also encourage you to join the Facebook Group.

Please do support this cause. It’s important to our society, and a vital moral position in our Christian faith.

I completely agree, Dean. It’s shameful and completely undermines the meaning of marriage. If you marry someone then you are committing to them, and if you don’t plan on doing that then there doesn’t seem to be a lot of point getting married in the first place.

It’s an extremely sad image of marriage when messages of infidelity being okay are thrown around. I personally think that a divorce would be better than a marriage where there is no faithfulness, loyalty, commitment, respect or love.

    • Thanks for commenting Lucy! I completely agree. Christian or not, this is shameful to any decent human being. We need to stand against it.
