Christian New Media Awards: TONIGHT!

It has finally arrived! The day of the Christian New Media Awards 2011 (Twitter hashtag #cnmac11 ). As you know, I am one of the finalists for the Under 25s Best Blog, so

I am travelling down to London today to St Stephen Walbrook for the ceremony which starts at 6:45pm.

I’m immensely excited and very nervous to be going. It will be great if I win, but even if I don’t I’ll be really encouraged that I’ve got this far and also encouraged by the whole experience. In fact I’m already encouraged by it all. There are so many great Christians in the media sector, especially bloggers, and I love reading their posts. The other finalist in my section is David Bunce who blogs here and he posts some interesting stuff! Check him out.

So please do pray for all of us, that we would network, have a great time, and that God would be glorified.

I’ll write a follow up post sometime after the ceremony… probably not tomorrow as I’m at a wedding!

Thanks for all your support guys – DeanRoberts.Net wouldn’t be a blog without you lot!

Hey, Dean. I know we don’t agree on pretty much anything on the religion front, but you do strike me as being a decent guy. So good luck. I hope you win – and have a great evening.

    • Mate, thank you! It means a lot, and actually you’re just as much a part of the blog as I am. You contribute an awful lot!

And I won! So thank you 🙂 It means a lot to me that you take the time to debate and discuss on here. I never take that for granted, it’s always appreciated and valued 🙂
