Disclaimers, Cautions and Policies

So yesterday, I was having a conversation with some people and my blog was mentioned. I won’t go into all the details of the conversation, but some were surprised that I like to play devil’s advocate sometimes, and that I don’t necessarily mean, think or believe the things I say 100% of the time. Quite often, they’re written down in a blog post to get you thinking.

Of course, a lot of the time, I do mean what I write. But this whole confusion led people to saying ‘you should be careful’ and ‘your blog will still be on the web in 20 years time’ and ‘I thought you were a bigot’.

Well, actually it’s OK to have an opinion. And it’s OK to write it on the web. And I will publicly admit here that I’m not right about a lot of things, and that I’m on a journey of faith and exploration. Therefore, I decided to write a disclaimer, fully explaining myself and what the purpose of this blog is. You can read it….
