OK, so another book review is hot off the press! This one, Heaven is for Real was a brilliant read. It’s not particularly theological or academic, but rather is a penned down account of a personal journey of faith within a family. It is the account of Colton Burpo’s trip to heaven and back as he underwent surgery. Whatever you think of these claims, I would recommend you have a read. I can’t give answers and conclusions to these sorts of experiences, but I did find this account fascinating. If you’re a ‘faith seeker’ or wondering what all the God stuff is about, you may be interested in this book especially, but I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Not for gain of knowledge, but just as an enjoyable read. However, it does make you think. Read my review of it here.

Quite a different sort of book that I’m reviewing today, but I’m posting to draw your attention to Sister Wendy‘s new book; Bible Treasury. It’s packed full of information about Biblical art and is quite a good read – definitely not taxing, and thoroughly enjoyable.
